NCWSA will no longer accept earmarked funds to the Pink Can fund! Through thought force, task force, and discussion since 2003 the Northern California World Service Committee unanimously voted to end the Pink Can Fund.
The money that is in the fund now $24K (literature) and 5K (institution expenses) will be used as the money was originally earmarked. But after all the money is used (estimates are 3-4 years) NCWSA will support institution with a budget line item. Institutions will be taken care of, but the GR’s will have input on this money as they did not with the Pink Can Fund.
As of right now any earmarked Pink Can Fund money will be sent back to the sender.
